I work closely with many highly respected collaborating providers. The mission of Moonlight Midwifery & Montrice LLC. is to help fill the gaps within Alabama’s maternal care system and ensure that you receive safe, respectful, autonomous, and evidence‑based care at every step.
Confirming pregnancy requires accurate testing. The two most common tests are urine-based and/or blood tests:
Urine Test: Detects hCG levels in urine. (results in 10 minutes)
Blood Test: More sensitive than urine tests; measures exact hCG concentration in the bloodstream. (Results within 24hrs)
When requested, an official letter used for confirmation of pregnacy is provided
Children are a natural and welcome part of midwifery care. Siblings are moving through this new season right alongside you—stepping into a new role, adjusting to big changes, and processing what it means to share their world with a new & needy little one. No matter their age, that transition can bring excitement, questions, and sometimes worries.
While children are always welcome in the clinic, a Sibling Visit is designed especially for them. During this visit, your child is invited to join the midwife in meaningful, hands‑on ways: measuring the belly, talking to the baby, asking questions, listening to the doppler, learning the baby’s position, and sharing their own thoughts, plans, and big feelings as they prepare for their new role.
Your child will leave with an age‑appropriate “Big Sibling” surprise bag—and, more importantly, with a sense of confidence, connection, and the feeling of being truly heard and included in caring for their mama & their sibling.
